Melissa Epperly is a strategic finance leader with deep experience driving financial performance and value creation across the global life sciences sector. She most recently served as CFO of Zentalis Pharmaceuticals,where she led the company through a successful IPO and multiple follow-on financings, raising over $1 billion to advance its oncology pipeline.
Melissa brings deep expertise in IPO and M&A readiness, capital markets strategy, and scaling operations and financial infrastructure to support global growth. Prior to Zentalis, she held CFO roles at PsiOxus Therapeutics and R-Pharm US, where she also led business development. Earlier in her career, Melissa was a Director at Anchorage Capital Group, a credit-focused hedge fund, and a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where she helped build and commercialize the GS SUSTAIN global equity research platform.She also worked in management consulting at Bain & Company and began her career in healthcare investment banking at Morgan Stanley.
She currently serves on the Board of Directors for Roivant Sciences and Nautilus Biotechnology. She holds a B.A. in Biochemistry and Economics from the University of Virginia and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
